Tudor's history with Rolex :
Tudor, a sister brand to Rolex, was founded in 1926 by Hans Wilsdorf, also founder of Rolex. Tudor was created to offer watches with the reliability and quality of Rolex, but at a more affordable price. The idea was to reach a wider audience without compromising the quality standards for which Rolex was already renowned.

Tudor watches adopted a number of Rolex features, including the famous Case Oyster. This Case, introduced by Rolex in 1926, was a veritable revolution in the world of watchmaking. It was the first Case waterproof, an innovation that not only improved the durability of watches but also enhanced their functionality in extreme conditions.

Tudor Oyster watches were equipped with screw-down crowns and backs of Case backs, borrowing directly from the technology developed by Rolex. This enabled Tudor to forge a reputation for robustness and reliability, while remaining affordable. Over the years, Tudor has continued to innovate, introducing its own unique designs and features while remaining true to Rolex's heritage of quality and durability.
