Raketa is considered the most influential and internationally renowned of the Russian watch brands. The brand, whose origins date back to the 18th century, transformed the factory that produced it into a veritable empire in the heyday of the Soviet Union before its closure in 1991.

Raketa is also known for its military watches and singular designs.
