About the Poljot brand :
Poljot (Russian: Полет, meaning "flight" or "flight") is a Russian watch brand that dates back to 1930. Poljot's history is closely linked to the Moscow Watch Factory, also known as the "First Moscow Watch Factory" (1МЧЗ). The Poljot brand was officially established in 1964, but the factory itself produced watches under different names before that.

Poljot is known for its quality mechanical watches and watch movements, some of which have been used in other Russian and international watch brands. One of the most famous movements produced by Poljot is the caliber 3133, a hand-wound mechanical chronograph movement that was developed in the 1970s and is widely respected for its robustness and reliability.

Over the years, Poljot has produced a wide range of watches, including sports watches, diving watches and dress watches. The brand is also known for its aviation and space watches. Poljot watches were worn by Soviet cosmonauts on space missions, helping to establish the brand's reputation for robust, reliable timepieces.

After the fall of the Soviet Union, Poljot continued to produce watches, but with varying degrees of success. At the beginning of the 21st century, the Moscow factory stopped producing watches under the Poljot brand. However, some companies continued to use the Poljot name and sell watches inspired by historical designs.
