About the brand:
The history of Tissot began in 1853, when Charles-Félicien Tissot and his son Charles-Émile founded the company in Le Locle, Switzerland. Initially, they produced pocket watches and ornamental clocks. Thanks to their expertise, the brand quickly developed and exported its products to Russia and the United States.

Over the years, Tissot innovated by introducing automatic, anti-magnetic, and water-resistant watches. In 1930, Tissot merged with Omega, forming the SSIH (Swiss Society for the Watch Industry) group. In 1983, the SSIH group merged with ASUAG to form the Swatch Group, of which Tissot is a part.

Tissot continues to innovate, launching the T-Touch in 1999, the world's first touch-sensitive watch. The brand also partners with various sporting events, reinforcing its international reputation.
